Pocket blocks SEEIF

Pocket blocks is an element of the locking device installed in the lining of the bottom of the casting ladle above the hole in the casing for placement of a steel pouring cup in it. The pocket blocks consists of one or two parts and holds the steel pouring glass in the set position, for which a hole is made in it. The upper part of the hole is expanded and forms a nest. When raising the stopper, the steel-pouring plug usually does not extend beyond the upper edge of the nest. Pocket blocks is made of fireclay.
