High Temperature Refractory Brick and Mortars

Kitmas company supplies refractory bricks of the European manufacturer Morgan Advanced Materials. We supply lightweight bricks (refractories) of five types, with application temperatures from 1260 to 1760 degrees Celsius, each of which is ideally suited to the corresponding thermophysical requirements. Firebricks JM brand refractories are made from high purity clay and metered-dose additives. Thanks to modern equipment and the use of the latest production methods, lightweight Firebricks JM bricks have a number of thermophysical properties that are significantly superior to outdated counterparts in all respects.

Lightweight bricks (refractory bricks) are most often used in industry as the first hot layer of a lining or heat-insulating layer in annealing and reflective furnaces, as well as in many other industrial high-temperature units. Firebricks JM brand refractories are effectively used in various repairs of the lining of industrial furnaces and other equipment.
The main advantages of refractory bricks are the following properties: the highest tensile strength under compression under the influence of high temperature, low heat conductivity and heat capacity, purity of chemical composition, accuracy and variety of sizes, ease of processing, etc.

It should also be noted that Morgan Advanced Materials produces refractory bricks of special shapes and large sizes, which allows more efficiently cope with the tasks of lining and thermal insulation of equipment in the industrial field.

All Morgan Advanced Materials insulating refractory bricks are made from high purity refractory clay with alumina additives to produce products with higher temperatures. Carefully sorted organic fillers burn out during firing, creating a uniform, controlled pore structure.

Distinctive features:
- Excellent strength at ambient and elevated temperatures
- Outstanding insulation values over the entire temperature range
- Lower heat storage than denser refractories
- Very low levels of iron and other impurities
- Low heat shrink

Insulating refractory bricks are suitable for use in refractory linings with a hot surface or as backup insulation for all types of high-temperature processing of metals, petrochemicals and ceramics, including:
- Primary processing furnaces for the manufacture and forging of ferrous metals
- Roller hearth, heating and forging furnaces for ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- Blast furnaces
- Chimneys, refining tanks and reactor chambers used in petrochemical processing
- Ceramic furnaces are used by manufacturers of plumbing, glassware and building materials
- Laboratory furnaces
- Fireplaces
